I love when relationships make their way back around. When I was first married, and living in Newport, I met Sarah. She was a busy mom of 5 young kids who needed a nanny. We went to lunch, then I went to her house, and at the end of the interview, she hired me! For about a year, I was there at least 5 days a week. Loving on her kids and helping in any way I could. Fast forward 7 years, and Sarah was marrying her best friend.
When I saw that Sarah was planning her dream wedding, I reached out on Facebook. I was so excited to potentially work with this family, of now 8!, who I had known and loved for years. Not only did Sarah hire me once again, but she trusted me completely!
She had her gown picked out, with POCKETS. Her colors were set, blush and rose gold. The most stunning venue had been booked. I was so excited to document this day. It had been a 10 year long relationship, and this beautiful couple deserved to be celebrated. The morning of the wedding, the entire family was filled with excitement. The boys looked adorable in their tuxes, and the girls enjoyed being pampered.
From the first look to the first kiss this wedding was beyond beautiful. I am so happy for this beautiful family. I know the future has so much in store, and I LOVE that I got to be a part of it from the beginning.
